a wolf!

today i took a nap and my cat wanted me to wake up and feed her several hours before her dinnertime but instead of meowing from nearby or jumping up and nipping at me or even walking on me what she decided to do was leap up, crouch on the bed next to my pillow, and, putting her face literally two inches from mine, meow one long, sustained MRRRRRRRAAAAA until i startled awake and had trouble focusing on her enormous pleading eyes because they were so fucking close to mine

and that is the rudest thing that’s ever happened to me.
